FVMQ O-rings, also known as fluorosilicone O-rings, are a rubber compound designed specifically for the aerospace industry. Known for their excellent temperature performance and excellent chemical stability, they are suitable for a variety of applications. Not only are these O-rings resistant to jet fuel and mineral oils, they also feature low compression set, excellent flexibility, and resistance to aging and sunlight. In addition, they are resistant to oxidizing chemicals, aromatic and chlorinated solvents, dilute alkalis, silicone oils, aliphatic and aromatic fluorocarbons, ozone, and oxidizing environments. This means that FVMQ O-rings can be used outdoors and are compatible with a wide range of lubricants.
Our FVMQ O-rings range in hardness from 50 Shore A to 80 Shore A, with most products coming in a standard hardness of 60 Shore A or 70 Shore A. Temperature ranges are standard from -100°F to 350°F, but actual temperature range will vary based on the end application. We offer O-rings in a variety of sizes and shapes, whether in metric or imperial sizes, to fit your needs. Common applications include engines, electrical enclosures, aerospace fuel systems, automotive fuel emissions, fuel pumps and tanks, and low-volatility applications.
Due to their mechanical characteristics, FVMQ O-rings are not suitable for dynamic sealing operations and are only recommended for static applications. If your application requires resistance over a wide temperature range or to harsh chemicals, FVMQ O-rings may be the ideal choice for you. Contact us today and let us help you find the perfect sealing solution.

1. The brittleness of O-rings in low-temperature environments is a common headache for industries like refrigeration, outdoor hydraulics, and cold-chain logistics. This problem often stems from two core factors: first, the crystallization of elastomer materials at low temperatures, which reduces
