Overview
The main function of the spark plug oil seal is to seal and prevent the oil from entering the combustion chamber through the spark plug hole. It achieves the sealing function through the sealing mechanism of the sealing lip contact area, which depends on the design of the sealing lip, the structure of the elastic material and the roughness of the shaft surface. The sealing lip of the oil seal rubs against the rotating shaft, causing the temperature of the sealing lip to be higher than the temperature in the oil, generally 20~50℃ higher than the working medium temperature.
